Quarterfinals Predictions

Despite being the reigning World Champions, T1 haven't shown great form so far at the tournament, and will have a tall mountain to climb if they want to defeat an Anyone's Legend squad that has always looked competitive on the international stage in 2025. Can AL finally put an end to the LPL's curse against T1?

Much like T1, Top Esports really struggled through the Swiss Stage. G2, meanwhile, will be feeling confident after their win over FlyQuest, and should be hungry to return to the Semifinals once more.

Next we have Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports, who will give us a rematch of the most recent LCK finals. Given that Gen.G won their last encounter in comfortable 3-1 fashion, they will be heavily favored to win this bout once more.

Last but not least, we arrive at what is perhaps the toughest Quarterfinal match to predict. CFO have shown just how competitive they can really be as they became the first APAC team to reach the playoffs at Worlds in 10 years. That said, KT have shown incredible highs by breezing through the Swiss Stage (or when they took down Gen.G in the LCK playoffs less than a month ago). For that reason, we believe KT should come out ahead in this match.

Semifinals Predictions

Judging by their Swiss Stage performances, Anyone's Legend has been a far better team than G2 at Worlds 2025. What's more, the team appears to be clicking at just the right time, and will be serious contenders to come away with the trophy in the end.

And then we have Gen.G. KT may have proven to be Gen.G's kryptonite in the LCK, but there is simply no denying the fact that Chovy and co. look like the best team in the world right now. This time, expect them to make Worlds Finals.

Grand Finals Prediction

We're expecting it to come down to Anyone's Legend and Gen.G for the title of World Champions. The two squads have already met twice this year (at MSI and the EWC), with both series going the distance but ultimately going the way of Gen.G in 3-2 fashion.

This time around, we simply have no reason to believe things will go any differently, closing out our Worlds 2025 Pick'Ems guide with a win for Gen.G.
