Riftbound, Riot Games' new Trading Card Game (TCG), is officially releasing in English on October 31st! League of Legends and TCG fans in North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania will be able to make the most of this Halloween treat by grabbing the first Riftbound set (titled Riftbound: Origins) on launch.

Where to Buy Riftbound Packs

Eager to start forming your first Riftbound decks? Riftbound: Origins will become available in two ways: local games stores and the Riot Games merch store.

Local Game Stores

The game's official launch in English will come on October 31st. On that date, Riftbound: Origins will be available at local game stores near you in all of the following regions: North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania.

If you can't find the game at your nearest store, then don't worry. Riot will be launching an official store locator on August 4th, where you can see exactly which stores in your area have Riftbound available for purchase (note that the link will only go live on the aforementioned date).

Riot Merch Store

But that's not all! A limited amount of Riftbound: Origins items will also become available for preorder through the official Riot Games merch store. Preorders will become available on August 4th (9 am PT), and will include Proving Grounds, Champion Decks, and Booster Boxes (more information on the contents below).

To carry out a preorder, you will need a Riot ID, and preorders will have quantity limitations as items are expected to sell out quickly.

*Note: If you're excited to try out Riftbound but live outside North America, EMEA, LATAM, or Ocenia, Riot has disclosed they will be looking into expanding the game's release through new languages and additional regional rollouts in 2026.

Riftbound Products: Decks, Packs, and Boxes

Riftbound's launch in English will be accompanied by a variety of products — from starter packs to pre-constructed decks, there will be something for everyone. Here's everything you can expect to find at your local game store regarding Riftbound: Origins:

  • Origins: Proving Grounds - Your basic starter set for learning the game. Features Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi decks.
  • Origins: Champions Decks - Pre-constructed decks which are ready-to-play! Featuring Viktor, Jinx, and Lee Sin.
  • Origins: Booster Packs - 14-card booster packs with different card rarities. Perfect for powering up your decks.
  • Origins: Booster Box - Each box includes a total of 24 packs! If you want to build different top-tier decks, then this is the way to go.

Riftbound: Origins Release Events!
