*Note that due to her problematic presence in the Mid Lane from time to time, Tristana will instead have her base Magic Resistance changed from 28 to 31. Her MR growth will be affected just like every other ADC on this list.

Support Role Quest Changes

A large part of what has allowed mages to become so predominant in the Bot Lane over traditional AD carry champions is the fact that they give Supports the freedom to roam the early game in search of kills in other lanes.

In order to try and keep Supports in lane, and thus aid bring the return of ADCs, Riot is making a few changes to the Support Role Quest in League of Legends Patch 26.16.

  • Support Role Quest:
    • Gold from champion and tower hits reduced: 22/24 (20/22 for ranged champions) >> 18/21
    • Gold from minion executions increased: 15/20 >> 18/21

Whether these Support Role Quest changes, in combination with the AD Carry MR changes above, will prove enough to push mages away from the Bot Lane remains to be seen. At the very least, though, it is certainly a start.
