Knight Makes LPL History as BLG Lift Another Trophy

In a hard-fought battle that went the distance, Bilibili Gaming (BLG) took down Top Esports (TES) to become the 2025 LPL Split 3 Champions. With the win, BLG were able to lift their first trophy of the year as they secure themselves China's #1 seed at Worlds 2025.

Over in the mid lane, meanwhile, Ding "knight" Zhuo continues to make a claim for the title of 'best LPL player ever' as he becomes the league's most decorated player of all time.

Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Heading into the Split 3 Grand Finals, BLG knew getting to the trophy would be no easy feat. The LPL titans had taken on TES just one week prior in the Upper Bracket Finals, where BLG were just able to defeat their rivals in dramatic 3-2 fashion. Now, history seemed destined to repeat itself in the Grand Finals.

After dropping the first game of the series, BLG decided to bring in former LEC jungler Zhao "Shad0w" Zhi-Qiang for the remainder of the series. The substitution immediately paid off, with BLG taking 3 of the following 4 games with stellar performances from both Shad0w and knight.

Despite going trophyless all of 2025 up to this point, BLG appear inevitable in the LPL, leveling up in time to lift the final and most important trophy of the year.

Knight Makes LPL History

A trophy and a first seed for Worlds are fantastic feats, but this win was particularly important for knight for an entirely different reason. With BLG's latest win, knight now stands alone at the top of the Chinese League of Legends scene as the player with the most LPL titles.

Having won the league in Summer 2020 (with TES), Spring and Summer 2023 (with JDG), Spring and Summer 2024 (with BLG), and now Split 3 2025, knight has surpassed 369, Kanavi, Xiaohu and Clearlove, all of whom have 5 LPL titles to their names.

To cap the night off, knight was also named Finals MVP for his continuous heroics against TES, marking the fourth time he earns a Finals MVP award in the LPL.
