Earlier today, Sunday, September 29th, Karmine Corp announced the suspension of an employee on their X. While the organization did not disclose the offender, it is the League team’s assistant coach Žiga "Apples" Jereb who was accused of misusing his status in the team.

The flurry of accusations started pouring in after a KC fan shared her side of the story regarding Apples’ inappropriate behavior and how he used his position as assistant coach to “seduce” them. He made several such unwanted advances and also leaked classified team information to these women in order to get their favor.

When threatened to be exposed, Apples guilt-tripped and manipulated the victims, while continuing to engage in such inappropriate exchanges.

There are also other unconfirmed rumors which allege his involvement in match-fixing and sabotaging peers.

Karmine Corp Take Action

In the statement they released on X, the organization acknowledged the accusations, immediately suspending Apples. However, they chose to not name him "to manage the situation while respecting appropriate legal framework."

Kamet0, Karmine Corp’s CEO, addressed the situation on his stream. He assured a thorough investigation into the matter and consequences for the people within the organization who knew about Apples’ behavior but chose to not report them.

"Depending on the results of the investigations, there will be consequences. I realize there are many things that need to change, and there will be some sorting out."

He also asked the fans and victims to reach out to him directly, and he will do everything to help them.

"Karmine Corp will always stand up for the victims.

If you are a victim, never hesitate to talk to me. I will always defend you 100%.

These are serious and important matters. If anyone has evidence of anything, send me a message if you have the strength; I will always be there to learn more and help."

This crisis comes on the hot tail of Karmine Corp’s early LEC elimination and rumors of mismanagement leading to the team's poor performance.

For the Karmine management, this will be the biggest hurdle moving forward. Despite their assurances, it was an oversight on their part that lead to one of their employees traumatizing fans and misbehaving with them.

Hopefully, Kamet0 and Karmine Corp can make amends with their fans and ensure similar incidents do not occur in the future.
