Some comebacks feel nostalgic. Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov joining Bushido Wildcats for the EMEA Masters Winter 2026 is one of them. The Russian veteran is stepping back into professional League of Legends, and for fans who remember what he once meant to this game, that name still carries real weight.

A Legend Who Built the Jungle

Long before "early-game jungler" was a standard practice, Diamondprox was the reason it existed. As the strategic engine behind the iconic Moscow Five roster in 2012, he turned the jungle role into something that could swing a game before most teams even finished their first rotations.

His signature Lee Sin play became the meta for aggressive early pressure and his rather unconventional picks kept his opponents guessing at a time when the meta was still being written by whoever dared to challenge it.

That Moscow Five lineup went on to become Gambit Gaming, a dynasty that defined European League of Legends for years. Diamondprox was at the heart of all of it, a player who didn't just follow the jungle meta but consistently forced it in new directions.

Here to Win

Bushido Wildcats had a tough group-stage opener, dropping 2-0 to UCAM Esports. Bringing in an experienced player like Diamondprox's, even if temporarily, really sends a message. This is a team that isn't satisfied just showing up at EMEA Masters.

With a jungle veteran who helped invent what aggressive jungling looks like, they're hoping to bring something different to the table this time.
