During their announcement of League of Legends Season 3, Riot Games revealed that Xin Zhao would receive a complete visual update to go along with the coming of updates. Now, the gaming giants have released a trailer for the champion's visual rework, allowing players a closer look at the all-new Xin Zhao.

Xin Zhao's Visual Update: What This Means

From the arenas of Noxus all the way to the Demacian throne room, Xin Zhao's journey is certainly one worth exploring. For this very reason, coupled with the fact that the champion is receiving a complete visual overhaul, Xin Zhao seems poised to take center stage when Season 3 arrives to League of Legends.

Moving forward, Xin Zhao's facial features will not only look more noble, but the champion will also don bigger armor with a mix of white and blue. This is meant to further accentuate his title of "Seneschal of Demacia."

Most importantly, though, this is solely a visual update, which means all of Xin Zhao's abilities will remain the same.

Xin Zhao's Skins: Will They Get Reworked?

Xin Zhao mains, rejoice! All of the champion's skins will be updated along with the champion's visual rework. It's important to note, however, that the Commando Xin Zhao and Imperial Xin Zhao skins are expected to receive significant improvements, which will make their price go up from 520 RP to 750 RP.

Both skins will keep their original price until Patch 25.17 (August 27th), which means that if you're interested in getting these skins, then the time is now!

Additionally, Xin Zhao will also receive a brand new Epic skin in Act 1 of Season 3, further hinting at his importance in the new season.

When Does Xin Zhao's Visual Update Release?

Excited to try your hand at the new-look Xin Zhao? You won't have to wait long, as Xin Zhao's visual update will officially arrive to League of Legends with Patch 25.17 on Wednesday, August 27th.
