Over the past few months, T1's League of Legends player Mun “Oner” Hyeon-ju has been the target of an online harassment campaign, with much of the criticism directed at his in-game performances. His agency, Key Player Agency (KPA), has since taken legal action, confirming that an arrest has been made in connection with the case.
The Online Harassment Targeting Oner
Professional players are no strangers to online criticism, but some fans cross the line with their comments. In Oner's case, the sustained wave of online harassment has now led to legal action by his agency.
Although the online harassment targeting Oner became more noticeable during LCK Rounds 3-4, the T1 jungler has faced criticism since the beginning of the year. The backlash intensified after T1 finished fourth at First Stand 2026, missing out on a place in the event.
The team's 5th–6th-place finish at the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, following their elimination by G2 Esports, further intensified the online hate directed at Oner.
In August, Oner was benched following a coaching staff decision to give the starting jungle position to an Academy player who had been performing better in scrims. The move sparked a wave of online comments, many of which targeted Oner and criticized his performances earlier in the season.
Since returning to T1's starting lineup, Oner has continued to face online hate, with some fans blaming him for the majority of the team's losses.
However, the online harassment went beyond criticism, prompting Oner’s agency to take legal action.

Criminal Case
On October 21, Oner’s agency, Key Player Agency, released a statement on Instagram updating fans on the ongoing criminal case against individuals responsible for malicious online comments.
The agency revealed that police have identified and arrested a suspect accused of posting malicious online comments targeting the Korean player.
The case has now been referred to the prosecution. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring online posts and comments, gathering evidence, and pursuing legal action against any further violations to protect the player.
