Mythic Shop Rework Brings More Unique Offerings to Players

The League of Legends Mythic Shop is getting a rework to offer players more unique skin options. Unlike the current system, where everyone has access to the same skins in the shop, the new version will offer different selections based on each player's gameplay.

Mythic Shop Changes

With Patch 26.22, the Mythic Shop is getting a major update. Instead of offering the same rotating catalogue to all players worldwide every two weeks, the store will introduce player-specific selections tailored to each player's gameplay.

Riot Games announced the changes in Patch 26.21, which will introduce a few smaller updates ahead of the major Mythic Shop rework planned for Patch 26.22.

"As a head up, during Patch 26.22, we'll be making changes to the Mythic Shop so that each player will start to see offerings unique to them, rather than everyone having the same selection at a given time. We're hoping this will open up the possibility in the future to allow for you to see more relevant content.

In preparation for this, we'll be making some changes during 26.21 so the rotation timings of the Bi-weekly, Weekly, and Daily sections of the Mythic Shop are better aligned. Keep a close eye on the rotation timings so you don't miss anything."

Personalized Skin Selections

The new Mythic Shop system will work similarly to Your Shop, which offers players discounted skins for champions they frequently play. However, unlike Your Shop, the Mythic Shop will keep its regular prices.

Instead, the rework will focus on offering a more personalized selection of skins, likely based on each player's gameplay.

These changes will not be limited to skins, as the Mythic Shop will also offer a more personalized selection of other cosmetics, including icons, emotes, chromas, and more.

While the selection may focus on the champions players use most, Riot Games could also take other factors into account when personalizing the Mythic Shop. However, Riot has yet to share exactly how these selections will work.

When Will the Mythic Shop Changes Go Live?

The Mythic Shop rework is scheduled to arrive with Patch 26.22 on November 4. Ahead of the update, Riot Games will make some adjustments to the shop's rotation schedule in Patch 26.21 to prepare for the changes.

The current bi-weekly shop rotation is set to change on October 27.
