LTA North Split 3 2025: Opening Matches, Format, Schedule, Tickets, and More

Top-flight League of Legends returns to North America when Split 3 of the LTA North kicks off on Saturday, July 26th. As the final split of the year, all eight teams in the LTA North Conference will compete to make it to the Regional Championship, where teams will have to battle for a spot at the biggest event of the year: Worlds 2025.
This time around, the LTA North will feature an all-new "Pick & Play" to begin the tournament. So, without further ado, let's go over everything you need to know about the start of the 2025 LTA North Split 3.
Teams
Format
Split 3 of the LTA North will be divided into two separate stages: the "Pick & Play" Phase and the Elimination Phase. Here's how each of these will work:
Pick & Play
- One group with all 8 teams
- First week matches are decided by Split 2 standings
- After Week 1, teams with the worst records select a team with a better record as their next opponent
- All matches are Bo3
- Three weeks of games
Elimination Phase
- Double-elimination bracket
- Top 4 Pick & Play teams start in the Upper Bracket. Bottom 4 Pick & Play teams start in the Lower Bracket
- All matches are Bo5 (for maximum Fearless Draft!)
- In Rounds 1 & 2, teams with the best records select their opponents
- Top 3 teams qualify to the Regional Championship
- Teams will compete against the best squads from the LTA South to qualify for Worlds 2025
Schedule
The all-new Pick & Play phase will kick off the LTA North Split 3 on Saturday, July 26th. Here's what the complete schedule will look like for this stage of the competition:
- Pick & Play stage starts July 26th and ends August 10th
- Matches will be played on Saturdays and Sundays for three consecutive weeks
- Two matches will be played per day
- Matches start at 1 pm and 4 pm PT, respectively
- Elimination Phase kicks off on Saturday, August 16th
Opening Matchups
Opening day of Split 3 in the LTA North will see the return of some of the best teams in the region to the stage. Don't miss the exciting action!
Here's everything you can expect from the two opening matches of Split 3:
FlyQuest vs Disguised [Saturday, July 26th - 1 pm PT / 10 pm CET]
After winning Split 2 in June, FlyQuest have had a relentless schedule after participating in both MSI 2025 and the EWC 2025 ahead of Split 3. For Disguised, this presents the team with their best shot at putting a dent in the FLY armor, as their rivals could understandably be exhausted.
Disguised will show up to the match with a brand new roster, and what better way to test their new ceiling than against the reigning LTA North Champions? Can the new-look Disguised rise to the occasion, or will they become just another victim in FlyQuest's path?
Cloud9 vs LYON [Saturday, July 26th - 4 pm PT / 1 am CET (next day)]
Despite coming just one game away from winning Split 2, Cloud9 were on the receiving end of a harsh wake up call at the Esports World Cup, where the North American side was eliminated from the tournament without winning a single game.
While the team's confidence may have taken a hit, it seems unlikely that Cloud9 will be taken down by LYON in a Fearless Bo3. Like Disguised, though, LYON will be showing up to Split 3 with new faces on the roster, and the possibility of a surprise is not entirely out of the question.

Remember that the 2025 LTA Championship, where this year's champions will be crowned, will take place in Texas on September 27th-28th.
