According to reports from Sheep Esports, FlyQuest player Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, arguably the best Western Jungler, will be joining LYON for the LCS 2026 season.

LYON Secure the MVP

The 2025 LTA Player of the Year, Inspired, is considered by many as the best player from LTA/LCS. The Polish Jungler is the only player to win an MVP award in both the LEC and LCS, and has the potential to carry games. He was also among our top 5 Junglers at World 2025.

Playing with FlyQuest, Inspired had a solid domestic season. They secured back-to-back LTA North titles and the LTA 2025 Championship. Unfortunately, the team continued to struggle internationally. Despite going into Worlds 2025 as the LTA first seed, they failed to replicate their 2024 performance, missing out on the Playoffs entirely.

For the 2026 season, according to Sheep’s report, Inspired had offers from Europe and other LCS teams, including Team Liquid and a renewal from FlyQuest.

Despite these, Inspired has decided to sign with LYON. This decision is especially surprising given the teams terrible performance in the LTA North 2025. But a lucrative offer and promise to sign a competitive roster seem to have swayed the Jungler.

Apart from Inspired, LYON’s current roster only consists of Korean mid-laner Kang “Saint” Seong-in. They have also let go of their coaching staff and will be bringing in proven coaching talent to aid their players.

It will be interesting to see what kind of roster they field and how it plays out next year. Nonetheless, the move is very surprising and extremely risky and might backfire on Inspired.

FlyQuest Enters Rebuild

On the other side, with Inspired and Busio out, FlyQuest will miss two crucial pieces of their LTA Championship 2025 winning roster going into 2026. These solid gaps will need to be filled with equally strong names if they want to make it back to the same level.

The current leaks suggest they plan to import European/Korean talent to fill these roles. But the exact players are not finalized at this point.
