G2 Esports Are Eliminated from MSI 2025 in Clean Sweep by FlyQuest

In yet another chapter of the timeless NA vs EU rivalry, FlyQuest delivered a crushing blow to G2 Esports, dominating the LEC side in the Lower Bracket of MSI 2025. The loss sees G2 eliminated from the tournament after a disappointing showing on the international stage, where Movistar KOI now remain as the sole European hope.
A One-Sided Rivalry: FLY Take Out G2
With no Western team left in the Upper Bracket of MSI, FlyQuest and G2 were both down to their last lives as they prepared to take each other on with each region's pride on the line. For FLY, elimination would mean there is no North American team left at MSI. With this year's tournament taking place in Canada, FlyQuest and the thousands of fans behind them are no doubt eager to make this shot count, and it showed.
For all of G2's international experience, the team looked entirely devoid of answers to deal with FlyQuest on the Rift. Despite the scrappy nature of the series, FLY always looked in control of the match, ultimately sweeping their rivals 3-0 powered by a stellar performance from Kacper "Inspired" Słoma. The Polish jungler finished the series with a 20/2/20 KDA, demonstrating precisely why he's the LTA North's MVP.
While FLY relish in their victory, G2 demonstrated they are little more than a shadow of their former selves. After winning the first game of the playoffs against Gen.G, G2 went on to lose their next six games in a row, crashing out of MSI 2025 after a disappointing showing.
