After sweeping the LTA North 2025 Split 3 Awards, FlyQuest have proved they are the best American team heading to China by dominating the LTA Championship 2025.

Utter Dominance

Despite stumbling at the start of the year, FlyQuest dominated LTA North Split 2 and 3, entering the LTA Championship as the first seed and favorites. As the top seed, they faced Vivo Keyd Stars for a spot in the LTA Championship 2025 Grand Finals.

In the match, FlyQuest swept their opponents to secure the Grand Finals. While many expected 100 Thieves to challenge FlyQuest for the title, VKS managed to upset the North American team in the Lower Bracket, setting up a revenge matchup in the finals.

FlyQuest, however, were prepared for their opponents, swiftly winning the first two games to go up 2-0. VKS, with their backs against the wall, won Game 3 but couldn’t close out Game 4, losing the match 1-3.

With the win, FlyQuest were crowned the 2025 LTA Champions.

Busio was named the Finals MVP for his 3/10/48 performance across the series.

With the dissolution of LTA back into the LCS, CBLoL, and LLA, FlyQuest are now both the first and last LTA Champions.

What’s Next?

Despite their regional success, FlyQuest’s biggest test remains ahead. In their two international appearances in 2025, they struggled against Eastern teams. With Worlds 2025 approaching, FlyQuest will aim to prepare thoroughly and leave a lasting impression.

With the conclusion of LTA Championship 2025, League of Legends action goes on a brief hiatus. It will resume on October 14th with T1 vs. Invictus Gaming at the Worlds 2025 Play-In stage.
