Crypto marketplace Coinbase has announced a 1v1 Mundo Dodgeball tournament. League of Legends players in Europe and North America will get to compete in one of the most popular mini-games for a chance to attend the Worlds 2026 finals live in New York, as well as a staggering top prize.

What Is Mundo Dodgeball?

Mundo Dodgeball is a very straightforward 1v1 custom game. The rules are simple: two players stand on opposite ends of the Baron pit as Dr. Mundo, divided by a sort of "net" made up of wards, with the goal of hitting each other with Mundo's [Q] Infected Bonesaw ability.

Players only get to use their Q ability, can only buy boots, and are free to use Flash only once per game. The game is entirely about testing both your skillshot aiming abilities and your dodging skills.

Mundo Dodgeball Tournament with Big Prize on the Line

The Coinbase Mundo Dodgeball tournament will feature events across Europe and North America. Across both instances, the events are split into two separate brackets, which will only converge during the Finals in New York City.

The first is an invitational bracket featuring renowned content creators within the League of Legends community, and the second will be an open qualifier bracket open to everyone. Among the content creators confirmed to participate in the event, we find names as big as Tyler1, Pobelter, Alois_NL, Skyyart, and many more.

Here's exactly how the tournament will work:

  • Matches are Bo3
    • Semifinals and Final are Bo5
  • NA and EU open qualifier champions qualify for the finals in NYC and win two tickets to the Worlds 2026 finals.
  • Top 2 players from the NA and EU Creators Cups also qualify for the finals in NYC and win two tickets to the Worlds 2026 finals
  • Winner of the tournament wins 1 Bitcoin (valued at roughly $85,000 currently)

With such a staggering prize on the line and the chance to win tickets to the Worlds 2026 finals, Coinbase's Mundo Dodgeball open qualifiers offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any League of Legends fan.
