When Season 2 of Arcane launched on Netflix back in November of 2024, it didn't take long for the animated series to make a splash. Now, Arcane continues its streak of recognition after receiving two nominations at the 77th Emmy Awards.

After the undeniable success of the show's first season, which won a total of four Emmy Awards back in 2022, the time has come to show Season 2 some love.

Arcane Continues to Impress

Arcane's second season brought the show to a spectacular close through a combination of powerful storytelling, stunning art style, and elaborate production. For this very reason, Season 2 of the League of Legends animated series received nominations for two awards at the upcoming Emmy Awards: Outstanding Animated Program and Outstanding Editing for an Animated Program.

To receive one (or both) of these awards would be nothing new for the show, however. Back in 2022, Arcane's debut season received five Emmy Award nominations, winning a total of four of these awards in the end, including that of Outstanding Animated Program.

Can the show's second season repeat the feat once more? The 77th Emmy Awards will be celebrated on September 14th, 2025, where we'll find out whether Arcane's award-racking stint will continue for a second consecutive season.
