Team Liquid Announces JT to Replace siuhy

Team Liquid has officially announced Johnny "JT" Theodosiou as their new in‑game leader, replacing Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek. The South African joins from Passion UA and brings considerable experience steering his former teams to success in Tier 1 Counter‑Strike.

JT Replaces siuhy as Team Liquid’s IGL

Team Liquid kicked off its roster shuffle earlier this month after acquiring young Bulgarian talent Jorko to replace long‑time AWPer ultimate. Now, the organization has parted ways with Polish IGL siuhy, who had spent over a year as Liquid's captain.

JT joins as his replacement, aiming to bring fresh strategies to the team and potentially take them to new heights.

After signing a new in-game leader, Team Liquid’s starting lineup now comprises: 

Prior to his year-long stint with Passion UA, JT spent over three years with Complexity. During his time with the American org, he achieved notable success in major tournaments, including a runner‑up finish at IEM Sydney 2023, a 3rd-4th place at ESL Pro League Season 19, and a 4th place at PGL Bucharest 2025.

Notably, he also played alongside EliGE during the latter's time at Complexity. Together, they won ESL DreamHack Summer 2024.

Team Liquid will debut their new roster at BLAST Bounty Summer. Their opening matchup is a Round of 32 fixture against Team Vitality on July 24 at 7 am PDT / 4 pm CEST.

Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
