G2 to take on w7m in Grand Finals: Six Invitational Playoffs Recap

The Six Invitational is one of the most prestigious events in the world of competitive Rainbow Six Siege. This annual tournament brings together the best teams from all over the world to compete for the title of world champion. This year's Six Invitational was no exception. With some of the most talented and skilled teams vying for the top spot.

The first round of the playoffs saw some of the most intense matches of the tournament, with each team fighting tooth and nail to progress to the next stage. There weren't many upsets in the Quarterfinals. But all the teams had a terrific show of Siege gameplay. The semi-finals were no different, with the remaining four teams battling it out to secure a place in the grand finals.

To the Grand Finals:

The first Upper Bracket Semi-final saw Oxygen take on Wolves in what was expected to be a closely contested match. However, Oxygen had the upper hand in the matchup, winning the series 2-1. The second match of the upper bracket Semi-finals was quite dominant for w7m, as they swept KOI 2-0 in their series. W7m continued this run in commanding form, managing to beat Oxygen 2-1 in their matchup, to reach the Grand Finals.

In the lower bracket, however, Astralis and G2 had a phenomenal run, resulting in them going head-to-head in the Lower Bracket Semi-finals. Both teams gave it their best. But it was G2 who came out on top. They managed to win the series 2-1, after a grueling 3 maps. G2 were not done, as they also managed to sweep Oxygen 2-0 in the Lower Bracket Finals. In quite the dominating style, G2 managed to qualify for the Grand Finals for the first time in 4 years.

Conclusion:

The Six Invitational playoffs were a rollercoaster ride of emotions. With each team fighting tooth and nail to progress to the next stage. The Grand Finals is hyped up to be the most exciting match up of the tournament. With both teams showing their incredible playstyles and strategic genius.

G2 are going to take on w7m in a BO5, where both teams will get to show each other exactly how much they want this Hammer, and it is gearing up to be an interesting matchup.

The Six Invitational is a testament to the skill, dedication, and passion of the Rainbow Six Siege community. We cannot wait to see what the Grand Finals has in store for us.
