Shopify Rebellion put on a commanding showing against MIBR in the Grand Final to win the 2024 VALORANT Game Changers Championship.

With their 3-0 sweep over the Brazilian side, Shopify Rebellion claim their second back-to-back VCT GC Championship title in truly dominant fashion.

After lifting two Championship trophies in the three years since the tournament's inauguration, Alexis "alexis" Guarrasi, Ava "florescent" Eugene, Melanie "meL" Capone, Nicole "Noia" Tierce and Sarah "sarahcat" Simpson may have just started the very first dynasty in the world of VALORANT Game Changers.

Shopify Rebellion dominate the 2024 VCT GC Championship

Sure, Shopify Rebellion may have been the big favorites coming into the tournament, but did anyone really expect it to be this clean?

As ludicrous as it may sound, Shopify Rebellion won the 2024 VCT GC Championship without dropping a single map all tournament long following their sweep of MIBR in the Grand Final.

Perhaps the only team that looked capable of putting a dent in the SR armor were G2 Gozen. The European side managed to push Shopify Rebellion to overtime on both maps during the Upper Bracket Finals bout, but were ultimately unable to make the champions crack.

Impressive as the team's run may have been at the 2023 VCT Game Changers Championship, in which Shopify Rebellion lifted the trophy after being pushed to the limit by Team Liquid in the final, nothing will quite match the level of supremacy the team put up during this year's tournament.

With their win at the 2024 VCT GC Championship, Shopify Rebellion didn't just cap off an impressive tournament, however, but an utterly dominant year. After securing their second Championship title, SR completed 2024 by winning every single official tournament in which they participated for the entire year.

Florescent secures back-to-back MVPs

This Shopify Rebellion squad has been competing together since early 2023, starting on what was then Version1. Now, after less than two years fighting side by side, this SR roster has proven to be one of the most well-oiled machines in the world of VALORANT.

In the end, however, one star must always shine the brightest. For Shopify Rebellion, that is none other than star duelist and greatest female VALORANT player in the world, florescent.

During the 2024 VCT GC Championship finals against MIBR, florescent once again proved pivotal for her team by putting up a 74/37/8 KDA, across the three maps played, finishing the series with a staggering 317 Average Combat Score (ACS).

In the end, there was no force in Berlin able to match that of florescent. The Canadian star finished the tournament to lead all players in KDA, ACS and kills per map.

For her dominant display at the 2024 VCT GC Championship, florescent was unanimously voted MVP of the tournament, marking her second back-to-back MVP award for a player that somehow continues to impress.
