Tarik Steps Away from VALORANT Co-Streaming after 4 Years

Former professional player and Sentinels content creator Tarık “Tarik” Çelik has announced a break from VALORANT watch parties.

After four years of streaming, Tarik is stepping away from watch parties for now, with plans to return to gaming streams eventually.

Tarik Puts His Watch Party Era on Hold

Tarik has been one of the most popular content creators in the VALORANT scene since stepping away from competitive CS:GO in 2021. 

He transitioned to full-time content creation following his retirement, eventually signing with Sentinels in 2022.

At the Masters Madrid 2024 Grand Finals, Tarik became the most-watched VALORANT co-streamer, peaking at 313,484 viewers and highlighting the growing popularity of both Sentinels and VALORANT.

On X, Tarik thanked the fans who tuned into his livestreams, saying they helped create many memorable moments throughout his journey. Despite Tarik assuring fans that he will return to gaming streams, it remains unclear how long his break will last.

The content creator frequently plays Counter-Strike 2, Marvel Rivals, and occasionally some League of Legends on stream. He also brings a variety of games to his streams, including new releases such as Resident Evil: Requiem. 

Tarik's Career

In 2015, Tarik began establishing himself as a rising force in the CG:GO scene after joining Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), where he competed in several international tournaments. A year later, he joined OpTic Gaming and went on to win ELEAGUE Season 2. 

However, the biggest moment of his career came in 2018, when he helped Cloud9 make history by winning the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018. It was the first time an American team had won the championship. Tarik was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, reinforcing his leadership and skill.
