Rocket League season 10 is just a couple of weeks away. That means that a lot of fans will be turning their attention to new content. Season 9 has been ongoing since December 7th and will continue until March 8th. Anyone who has played since then will know that season 9’s theme was fire and ice. Players battled it out in the Forbidden Temple arena and collected a LOT of magical items. However, what Rocket League season 10 has in store remains to be seen!

Rocket League Season 10 - What to Expect From the New Season

When will Rocket League season 10 be released?

It’s important to note that there is no official release date for Rocket League season 10 just yet. Fans will still need to speculate about but we can certainly make an educated guess. It may be a little difficult to predict because RL seasons aren’t consistently the same length, however, there are enough seasons now to allow fans to get in the right ballpark.

Most commonly, there has been a 3-4 month lifespan for each season. If season 9 is due to end on March 8th, that would put the release date for season 10 in early April.

If we turn our attention to the RLCS Winter Cups, they can also give an indication. The Winter Major is due to take place from April 6th-9th. It wouldn’t make much sense for Epic to release updates in the middle of a Major. That means that Rocket League season 10 could come as early as April 10th.

Season 10 new features - brand new rewards

Each season changes the general feel of the game overall. Fans will be expecting new rewards, game modes and perhaps even a new arena. However, it’s likely that Rocket League season 10 will want to mix things up a little - no one wants the same rewards again and again after all.

RLCS Decals

With RLCS well underway, fans can expect decals of their favorite teams. Those who saw Gen.G Mobil1 Racing storm to victory in the Fall Split Major back in December may finally be able to show their support in decals. Likewise, perhaps the Winter Major winners will also make an appearance in the decal store!

LTEs

Rocket League has one of the highest numbers of limited time events of any esport game. Not only have they had events for holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas but they also celebrate the Superbowl and Black History Month. A new season should bring a whole new set of events to keep the game new!

Rocket League Battle Pass

Most importantly, a new season should mean a brand new battle pass for the game. That means 100 tiers of rewards and perhaps even a new car. New vehicles have most commonly made an appearance during this kind of event so fans should be able to try out something new. Hopefully, they won’t need to speculate for much longer!
