The upcoming Year 10 Season 3.3 update for Rainbow Six Siege X introduces significant changes to several operators, aiming to refine gameplay balance and improve user experience. Ubisoft’s latest Designer’s Notes highlight adjustments based on statistical analysis, player feedback, and ongoing meta needs.

Denari – Weapon Buffs and Ability Tweaks

After reconsidering previous updates, Denari receives multiple revisions to restore her viability. The Glaive-12 shotgun, which underperformed in recent patches, is being extensively buffed. Damage is reverted and improved, ammo capacity expanded, and recoil reduced for more reliable engagements.

T.R.I.P. Connector Adjustments:

  • Laser damage set at 20
  • Instant reconnection after line-of-sight interruptions

Glaive-12 Buffs:

  • Damage increased from 63 to 67
  • Range drop-off extended to 15 meters
  • Improved recoil handling for PC and console
  • Ammo increased from 29 to 44
  • Better hip-fire accuracy

These changes aim to make Denari more effective in rotations and precise sightline creation, while not forcing players into tedious setup duties.

Jäger – New Secondary

Jäger gains additional loadout versatility with the introduction of the P-10C handgun equipped with sights. This addition benefits players who opt to use the M870 shotgun as a primary weapon, providing a dependable mid-range alternative without compromising close-range lethality.

Loadout Update:

  • Secondary weapon added: P-10C

Bandit – Self-Sufficient Setup Power

Bandit’s patch addition of the Keratos .357 revolver boosts his utility during the preparation phase. This powerful handgun allows Bandit to smash exterior soft walls on his own, aiding in sound propagation for those who love tricking and reducing reliance on teammates for early-round wall destruction.

Loadout Update:

  • Secondary weapon added: Keratos .357

Solis – Buffs All Around

Recent tweaks to Solis haven’t delivered significant improvements, prompting further upgrades to her SPEC-IO device. Detection range, Overclock duration, and activation requirements all receive impactful buffs, making her ability more practical in varied engagements.

In addition, Impact Grenades return to her kit, enhancing her roaming potential while removing the Bulletproof Camera for a more aggressive playstyle.

SPEC-IO Changes:

  • Detection range increased from 12m to 20m
  • Overclock duration extended from 10s to 15s
  • Minimum charge to activate lowered from 50% to 25%

Loadout Update:

  • Gadgets added: Impact Grenades
  • Gadgets removed: Bulletproof Camera

Conclusion

The Y10S3.3 patch is set to reinvigorate fan-favorite operators like Jager and Bandit, balancing their loadouts and abilities for both casual and competitive play. With weapon buffs, new sidearms, gadget swaps, and refined abilities, players can expect more diverse tactical options and reduced reliance on specific teammates for early-round setups.
