The highly anticipated return of Rainbow Six Esports to Montreal has been announced, marking the final BLAST Rainbow Six Major of the 2024 season. This exciting event will take place in November, featuring intense competition and a significant prize pool.

Event Details and Schedule

The BLAST R6 Montreal Major will unfold at the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Canada. The event is divided into three distinct phases:

  • Phase 1: November 7 - 8 (not open to the public)
  • Phase 2: November 10 - 13 (not open to the public)
  • Phase 3: November 15 - 17 (open to the public at the Verdun Auditorium)

Competition Format

The BLAST R6 Montreal Major will follow a format similar to the previous BLAST R6 Manchester Major. The tournament structure includes:

  • Phase 1: Eight teams will compete in a modified Best of 3 Double Elimination Bracket, culminating in the top four teams advancing.
  • Phase 2: The top four teams from Phase 1 will join twelve other teams in a 16 Team Swiss Bracket Phase.
  • Phase 3: The final phase will feature a Team Single Elimination format, played in front of a live audience.

Prize Pool and Qualification

Teams from nine different regions of BLAST R6 will compete to be among the 20 teams qualifying for the Montreal Major. They will battle for a share of the USD $750,000 prize pool and points to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025.

Tickets for the BLAST R6 Montreal Major are now available on Eventim. Fans have various options, including 3-day passes and single-day passes, with early bird pricing available for 3-day passes.
