Top Esports are in hot form after finishing at the top of Group Ascend in the Split 3 of the LPL. And yet, it's not all sunshine and rainbows over at camp TES.

In a recent livestream, Yu "JackeyLove" Wen-Bo admitted that his future in competitive League of Legends is far from certain due to on-going health issues.

JackeyLove May Be Forced to Step Down

A former World Champion (2018), JackeyLove has long been considered one of the very best AD carries on the planet. It could all be coming to an end, though, due to the star player suffering from chronic tinnitus.

"Honestly, even if I wanted to keep playing, I wouldn’t be able to do it for many more years. To be real with you, I still want to live a few more years."

Though JackeyLove has been trying to deal with his condition for quite some time, several of the doctor requests are simply inconceivable for a professional player of his level. Some of these requests, for instance, include avoiding the use of headphones, or to move around and avoid sitting for long periods of time. The grind of competition, along with the tinnitus, are understandably beginning to take their toll on JackeyLove.

"My doctor told me the only thing I can do is play a game or two, get up, move around a little. But I can only take a couple of steps."

For now, JackeyLove fully intends to help push Top Esports to another LPL title, and perhaps better yet, make a run for the trophy at Worlds 2025. Once the season is over, however, the star AD carry intends to under a full medical check-up before ultimately deciding on his future.
