Inspired and LYON win LCS Lock-In and Qualify for First Stand 2026

Inspired and LYON win LCS Lock-In and Qualify for First Stand 2026

During the off-season, Inspired, the first and only LTA MVP, made headlines for his decision to join LYON after a successful domestic year with FlyQuest. The perceived gamble has now led Inspired to another Domestic Finals MVP and LYON’s return to the International stage.

LYON wins LCS Lock-In 2026

Despite the hype surrounding the roster, especially after Dhokla joined as a top-laner, LYON struggled in the Swiss stage. They won their opening game against Dignitas, but lost to Cloud9 and Disguised. Many expected the C9 loss, but the ragtag team of rookies taking down a roster constructed to win wasn’t on anyone’s bingo card.

But as the Playoffs rolled around, LYON’s experience came through as they went on a lower bracket on a run to defeat FlyQuest, Team Liquid and Sentinels to qualify for the Grand Finals

The team that stood before Inspired and his back-to-back domestic title was Cloud9, who previously swept LYON during the Swiss stage.

Cloud9 were the favorites, and a game 1 win only further solidified the opinion. But LYON came back with a quick win of their own to equalise the series. They used the momentum to secure the next two games, to win LCS Lock-In 2026.

This is the first LCS title for LYON. Inspired was named the MVP of the series.

The win also qualifies LYON for the First Stand 2026, where they will represent the LCS against global competition.
