The first stage of the IEM Melbourne 2025 saw 10 teams getting eliminated from the competition. We now head to the Rod Laver Arena with the passionate Aussie crowd as we enter the last stage of competition.

The six teams that dominated their groups will play a single-elimination bracket with the top seeds from each group directly playing the semifinals.

The teams that qualified for the Playoffs are:

Group A

Group B

In the Playoffs, the lowest seeds will play each other to qualify for the semi finals featuring the top seeds.

The fixtures and schedule for the Playoffs are as follows:

Playoffs Predictions: Who will challenge Team Vitality?

The storyline for the IEM Melbourne 2025 Playoffs is set to be similar to the last two tournaments attended by Team Vitality: who will challenge the team featuring both ZywOo and ropz?

Within their group, Team Falcons was the closest to challenge them. In the Group B Upper Bracket Finals, the upgraded Falcons secured a solid 12-7 lead on Mirage but failed to hold on it, eventually losing the map 16:13 with Team Vitality closing the series out on their map pick of Inferno for a 2-0 victory.

The biggest challenger for Team Vitality right now has to be MOUZ, who managed to win two maps over the current overlords back during the BLAST Open Spring. They also have been looking in a sharp form, winning their group without dropping a series.

But MOUZ haven't been especially challenged within their own group. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with to finally take down Team Vitality this time around should the two teams meet.

Meanwhile the remaining three teams: GamerLegion, Team Liquid, The MongolZ, will need to find some amazing form to get anywhere close to challenging Team Vitality.

As of now, it looks like Team Vitality is poised to win another trophy and the only real roadblock in their way are MOUZ, who have historically not bode well against the French squad.

Will Melbourne finally be where MOUZ win over Team Vitality and end their streak? Or will Team Vitality continue their dominance and win another trophy inching ever so closer to the ESL Grand Slam? And can Team Falcons tango with the top of Counter-Strike?

Keep watching IEM Melbourne 2025 to find out. You can also follow the tournament on Strafe.
