The Heartsong Seraphine skin raised over $3.7 million for the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. Riot Games announced the results of the League of Legends charity campaign on Friday, October 16, about three weeks after the fundraiser ended.

The total includes proceeds from purchases of the skin and an additional contribution from Riot. The company thanked players in a social media post but did not disclose how much of the money came directly from skin sales.

How Did the Heartsong Seraphine Charity Campaign Work?

Released on August 26, 2026, with Patch 26.17, the Legendary Seraphine skin cost 1,820 RP. The charity campaign ran through September 23.

During that period, Riot donated 100% of its proceeds from the skin to the Social Impact Fund. The developer also contributed an additional amount equal to twice those proceeds, a 2x match. That means the $3.7 million total includes Riot's own contribution, rather than coming entirely from player purchases.

Riot Has Raised Millions Through Previous Charity Skins

This was not Riot's first League of Legends skin fundraiser. In 2025, Panda Pal Lux raised over $3 million through a similar campaign, with Riot again contributing an additional amount equal to twice the proceeds from the skin.

Other charity skins have raised even more. Elderwood Ornn, released in 2020, brought in over $7 million, while Dawnbringer Karma raised over $6 million through a campaign launched in 2019.

The Riot Games Social Impact Fund was established in 2019 in partnership with ImpactAssets to support nonprofit organizations around the world. In previous campaigns, players have also been able to vote on which charities should receive part of the funding.
