The sixth and final Hearthstone Masters tour of 2022, Maw and Disorder, concluded on October 9, 2022, with all the action streamed on Youtube. Best players worldwide played each other for the $250,000 prize pool and the title of Masters Tour: Maw and Disorder.

 

Hearthstone Masters Tour: Maw and Disorder Rules:

All the players to attend the Masters Tour must register on Battlefy. They have to compete in an online qualifying tournament to make it to the Masters Tour. The qualifiers for Masters Tour: Maw and Disorder started on June 10 and ended on July 17. The qualified players played Maw and Disorder online beginning October 7.

While all the players play the qualifiers, it is on Blizzard to finally invite the players, and only invited players can play in the Masters Tour tournament.

There are multiple ways to get invited to Masters Tour, and you can read the detailed rules here.

Amongst other rules, one of the most important is that the players have to be in the Top 50 Legend Rank and part of America, Europe and the Asia Pacific to be eligible for the Master's Tour tournaments.

All the tournaments are played on standard decks, and Blizzard will provide the accounts for the tournament. The matches will be 4-deck, Best of Five Conquest format with a ban and all the attendees have to ensure they have a device secured to compete.

The Masters Tour: Maw and Disorder was a three-day-long tournament with

two days of Four rounds of the Swiss stage amongst the participants. The points from both days will culminate in finding the top 16 players for Day 3. The final 16 players played in a best-of-5 single elimination bracket-type tournament.

 

Maw and Disorder Results:

The top 16 players playing on the final day battled each other to crown the winner of the Maw and order. The battle started with IDLE losing 0-3 to Spring. Since the tournament is a single-elimination type, a single loss meant elimination.

The results of the Quarterfinals were:

  • IDLE 0-3 Spring
  • Furyhunter 3-1 Dardarbinks
  • holywater 2-3 Construct
  • LeandrolLeal 3-1 Gregoriusil

With the winner moving forward to the Semi-finals, the semi-finals had both furyhunter and LeandroLeal beating their opponents 3-1, and it seemed that going into the finals, the match-up would be pretty close.

Hearthstones Masters Maw and Order Semifinals

The finals, though, were completely one-sided, With game one Furyhunter choosing Priest to beat LeandroLeal's Druid Class. While LeandroLeal stuck to Druid class, Furyhunter chose to play hunter class and defeated LeandroLeal's Druid to extend his lead to 2-0 and reach map point. The final game was the same, with Furyhunter's mage defeating Leandroleal's Druid class to win the Maw and Order title.
