FISSURE Universe: teams cut in half

After five days of intense battles, the group stage has concluded. By the third round, Team Spirit and Tundra Esports had already secured the first two spots in the playoffs.

Qualifying early also makes them strong contenders to reach the Grand Finals. In the fourth round, Team Liquid, Team Tidebound, and PARIVISION crossed the finish line.

Finally, Team Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators, and BetBoom Team claimed their playoff spots in the last round. In total, eight teams advance to the playoffs, while the remaining eight are eliminated.

On the other hand, M80, One Move, Wildcard, Talon Esports, Night Pulse, 1win, BOOM Esports, and Aurora exit the tournament with no prize money and no glory.

Playoff Schedule Announced

Here’s the schedule for the first day of the playoffs (March 27):

  • 09:00 GMT - Team Tidebound vs. PARIVISION

  • 12:30 GMT - Team Spirit vs. BetBoom Team

  • 16:00 GMT - Tundra Esports vs. Team Falcons

  • 19:30 GMT - Team Liquid vs. Gaimin Gladiators

The first day features four matches, starting at 09:00 GMT, with each subsequent match scheduled three and a half hours later.

However, long games may affect the schedule, so keep an eye on match timings to avoid missing any action.

The day kicks off with Team Tidebound looking to restore chinese prestige against PARIVISION. While PARIVISION had a strong start this year, their recent performance has been declining.

Next, the action heats up with an Eastern European classic — Team Spirit faces BetBoom Team. Team Spirit is the favorite, but BetBoom has a strong roster despite its history of inconsistency.

The third match is the highlight of the day, with Tundra Esports testing Crystallis against Team Falcons. This will be a key test to see if Tundra can thrive with Remco, following the departure of dyrachyo.

Finally, Team Liquid takes on Gaimin Gladiators. While Team Liquid has recently reclaimed its place at the top of Tier 1, the Gladiators haven’t been as fortunate.

All winning teams will advance to the upper bracket semifinals, while the losing teams will face a tougher challenge in the lower bracket.
