FaZe Clan has been crowned the Six Invitational 2025 champions after a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Team BDS in the grand final. The Brazilian squad secured their first international trophy since 2021, capping off an incredible lower bracket run.

Cyber Leads FaZe to Glory

The grand final was a thriller, showcasing intense battles across all four maps. Chalet saw Team BDS take a narrow 9-7 win in infinite overtime, setting the stage for a grueling series. However, FaZe struck back immediately, winning Consulate (7-5), Nighthaven Labs (7-5), and Clubhouse (7-4) to secure the hammer.

José "Cyber" Ramos was the star of the match, with a K-D of 50-35 and an entry balance of 10-8 (+2). Eduardo "KDS" Chiste followed closely behind at 45-34, ensuring FaZe’s dominance across the final three maps.

A Historic Lower Bracket Run

FaZe Clan’s championship run was nothing short of remarkable. After dropping to the lower bracket in the first round due to back-to-back overtime losses to Spacestation Gaming, they embarked on an incredible comeback.

FaZe defeated a host of top-tier teams, including Team Liquid, got their revenge on SSG, and finally beat BDS to complete their Lower Bracket run. This marks the fourth consecutive Six Invitational where the lower bracket winner has claimed the title, following in the footsteps of TSM, G2 Esports, and w7m esports in previous years.

A Long-Awaited International Triumph for FaZe Clan

This victory ends FaZe Clan’s international title drought, with their last major trophy coming at the Six Sweden Major in 2021. Over the years, FaZe has undergone multiple roster and staff changes, but Cyber and Lucas "soulz1" Schinke remain from the squad that competed in that 2021 grand final.

For Brazil, this win is also significant. With three Six Invitational titles to their name, Brazil has now tied Europe and is just one championship away from equaling North America’s record of four titles.

Heartbreak for Team BDS

While FaZe celebrates, Team BDS suffers another painful grand final loss—their third of the season. The French squad also fell short in Manchester (vs. Beastcoast) and Montreal (vs. w7m esports), continuing a frustrating pattern of near-misses.

Adding to the heartbreak, this was the first and only time FaZe Clan has beaten Team BDS this season, as BDS previously bested the Brazilians at the EWC in Riyadh and at the Montreal Major.

With the 2024-25 season now concluded, FaZe Clan will head into the new year as the reigning world champions. The question now is whether they can maintain their dominance or if Team BDS, or maybe another challenger, will rise to claim the next international title.
