Esports World Cup 2024 officially kicks off today with the opening show starting in a few hours. The eight-week long esports festival features 21 esports titles and top teams across these titles competing for some of the biggest prize pools.

Another big attraction of the esports extravaganza is the EWC 2024 Club Championship. The overarching event will reward the club/esports organization consistently placing in the top 8 in the 21 esports titles.

The event will decide the best Club in the world from the multiple organizations competing at EWC 2024.

How does the Esports World Cup 2024 Club Championship work?

Esports organizations/clubs that will compete in multiple events during the EWC 2024 will amass Club Championship points. The Club with the most points after the conclusion of all the tournaments will win the EWC 2024 Club Championship.

Requirements for participating and winning the EWC 2024 Club Championship

For the Club Champions, the organizations will be required to participate and win as many top finishes across the 21 events of the EWC 2024. These clubs have to fulfill the following requirements to win the Club Championship.

  • Club/Organization has to secure a top 8 finish in atleast two titles.
  • It has to amass maximum points during the EWC 2024
  • It has to win atleast one title out of the 21.
  • Incase of a tie-breaker, the club with most first place finishes will be granted a win or the Head to head matches will be considered.

The points distribution is the same across all the titles. The points distribution for every title is as follows:

Esports World Cup 2024 Club Championship Prizepool:

A total of $20M is up for grabs at the Club Championship. The total prizepool will be divided amongst 16 clubs, with the winner securing a grand prize of  $7M. The complete prize distribution is as follows:
