In the world of competitive StarCraft II, the ESL SC2 Pro Tour Spring Season closed qualifiers details have been announced. Set to commence from April 10th, this season marks the fourth installment of the tournament.

Exciting offline finals at DreamHack Dallas

Players and fans alike can anticipate thrilling matches as the ESL SC2 Pro Tour Masters Spring unfolds. Scheduled from May 31st to June 2nd, the offline Finals will take place at DreamHack Dallas. Notably, the top four semifinalists from these Finals will secure coveted slots in the brand new StarCraft II Championship event, the Esports World Cup 2024.

Increased prize pools for the ESL SC2 Pro Tour

In a move that underscores ESL's dedication to enhancing the competitive landscape, the prize pools for both online Regionals and offline Finals have been increased. Now boasting a total of $150,000 across three regions for the Regionals and $100,000 for the Finals, these enhancements are poised to elevate the stakes and intensity of the competition.

Furthermore, players can expect fresh challenges with an updated competitive map pool for the ESL SC2 Pro Tour Spring Masters season. Five new maps, including Dynasty, Amphion, Ghost River, Crimson Court, and Post-Youth, will replace previous entries, injecting novelty and strategic diversity into the gameplay.

Registration details and qualification process

Registration for participation in the offline Finals will remain open until May 5th, with priority given to ESL Pro Tour points holders. Participants have two avenues to secure a spot in the prestigious event: qualifying via online Regionals for a paid trip and seeding into the Winners Stage or applying for one of the 32 slots available in the Open Stage.

Consistent online regional format

In terms of the qualification process, the online Regional format mirrors that of the previous Winter 2023 season, ensuring consistency and familiarity for participants. Here is a breakdown of how the regionals will go.

All regions will feature a triple-elimination Swiss Group, with 16 players per group fighting for the top 8 spots to qualify for the Playoffs. Europe will feature two groups, Americas and Asia only one.

At the regional playoffs we will have a double-BO5-elimination and a BO7 Grand Final - 16 EU players will fight for 4 spots, 8 AM players will fight for 2 spots and 8 AS players will fight for 1 spot. All of them will go to the Winners Stage of the Offline Finals.
