The most crucial part of DreamLeague Season 26 is finally over, and we now have news about the Second Stage and the teams heading into the playoffs. Out of the eight squads that advanced past the first stage, four have earned their place in the next phase, while the other four have been eliminated.

Unlike the first stage, the Second Group Stage featured a dedicated day for tiebreakers, which ended up determining half of the playoff qualifiers. Let’s dive into the results and take a closer look at the Top 4 teams moving forward, as well as those who rounded out the Top 8.

DreamLeague Season 26: Second Stage Results

The Second Group Stage concluded with four teams being knocked out. PARIVISION stood out as the only squad to qualify without needing tiebreakers. BetBoom Team and Flipster Talon Esports were forced into a tiebreaker to determine second place, with BetBoom emerging victorious.

Despite the loss, Talon secured third place and a guaranteed playoff spot. The final berth came down to a nail-biting best-of-three series between Aurora Gaming and Gaimin Gladiators. Both teams gave it their all, but Aurora ultimately prevailed, clinching fourth place.

With their losses, Gaimin Gladiators joined Yakult Brothers, Nigma Galaxy, and Team Liquid in the eliminated pool. Still, all teams in the Top 8 received prize money and EPT Points as usual:

  • Team Liquid: $25,000 prize – 800 EPT Points + $12,500 Club Reward
  • Nigma Galaxy: $30,000 prize – 1,500 EPT Points + $12,500 Club Reward
  • Yakult Brothers: $35,000 prize – 2,300 EPT Points + $12,500 Club Reward
  • Gaimin Gladiators: $45,000 prize – 2,400 EPT Points + $12,500 Club Reward

Playoff Schedule: Deciding the Top 4

After nearly two weeks of intense competition, the final four teams are set to bring DreamLeague Season 26 to a thrilling close. The playoffs kick off on May 31st, starting with a match between Talon Esports and Aurora Gaming at 13:00 GMT, which will determine the fourth-place finisher.

Shortly afterward, PARIVISION and BetBoom Team will clash in what many now consider a modern Eastern European classic. The winner of this match will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while the loser will drop to the lower bracket final. That match is scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

The tournament will officially wrap up at the beginning of June. On June 1st, the intense third-place match is set to kick off at 11:00 GMT, offering fans a final glimpse of two top-tier teams battling for pride and position.

Later that day, at 14:00 GMT, the highly anticipated Grand Finals — a best-of-five showdown — will determine the ultimate champion of DreamLeague Season 26 in what promises to be an unforgettable climax to the event.

Please note that while match start times are estimated, delays may occur, especially if the opening series runs long. With the stakes this high, a new patch in play, and teams pushing for their final shot at glory, extended series are very possible.
