The BLAST R6 Munich Major 2025 is just a week away, promising high-stakes Rainbow Six Siege action as 16 of the world’s best teams clash in Germany for a huge prize pool and a coveted spot at the Six Invitational 2026. Here’s everything you need to know before the action begins.

The Munich Major is the second international event of the Rainbow Six competitive calendar this year, assembling the top 16 teams from the four regional leagues. Not only is there a $750,000 prize pool, but the winner will earn direct qualification to the Six Invitational 2026.

Format Breakdown

Group Stage (Swiss Stage)

  • 16 teams compete in a Swiss Stage format.
  • 3 wins secure a team’s spot in the playoffs; 3 losses result in elimination.
  • Rounds 1 and 2 are played as best-of-1 matches.
  • Rounds 3, 4, and 5 are played as best-of-3 matches.
  • The top 8 teams from the Swiss Stage will progress to the playoffs; the bottom 8 are eliminated.

Playoffs (Double-Elimination)

  • Double-elimination bracket determined by Swiss Stage results.
  • Top 2 teams from Swiss Stage get a bye into Upper Bracket Semifinals.
  • Teams ranked 3-6 head to Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.
  • Teams ranked 7-8 start in Lower Bracket, facing immediate elimination risk.
  • All playoff matches are best-of-three, except Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals, which will be best-of-five.

  • Swiss Stage: November 8-11 (five rounds played over four days).
  • Opening Matches (Nov 8):
    • FURIA vs Dplus Kia (1 pm CET)
    • Weibo Gaming vs ENTERPRISE Esports (1 pm CET)
    • CAG Osaka vs FaZe Clan (2:30 pm CET)
    • Team Secret vs Wildcard Gaming (2:30 pm CET)
    • Team Falcons vs Shopify Rebellion (4 pm CET)
    • Spacestation Gaming vs Team BDS (4 pm CET)
    • M80 vs G2 Esports (5:30 pm CET)
    • w7m esports vs Ninjas in Pyjamas (5:30 pm CET)
  • Round 2 will begin once Round 1 concludes, with Rounds 3, 4, and 5 on Nov 9, 10, and 11, respectively.
  • Playoffs: Set for November 12-16. Exact bracket details will be revealed as the event progresses.

Prize Pool and SI Points

While prize money is significant, the main motivation is the direct Six Invitational 2026 entry for the champion. Lower-placed teams earn valuable SI points towards future qualification.

  • 1st: $245,000 + SI 2026 Qualification
  • 2nd: $120,000 + 1200 Points
  • 3-4th: $60,000 + 600 Points
  • 5-8th: $25,000 + 300 Points
  • 9-11th: $15,000 + 150 Points
  • 12-14th: $10,000 + 100 Points
  • 15-16th: $10,000 + 50 Points
