Patch 25.19 has landed, and with it comes the final shakeup to the ranked ladder before Worlds 2025. While the pro scene will showcase the patch on the biggest stage, most players are far more concerned with one thing: climbing Solo Queue. Whether you’re aiming to break into a new tier, secure end-of-season rewards, or simply escape Elo hell, knowing which champions perform best in the current meta can make all the difference.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the best champions to climb League of Legends ranked in Patch 25.19.

Best champions to climb lol ranked in patch 25.19

Best Top Lane Champions

Sett

Sett continues to be a problem in the Top Lane due to his strong laning and his ability to turn a duel on its head with a well-timed [W] Haymaker.

A disruptive team-fighter thanks to his [E] Facebreaker and [R] The Show Stopper abilities, Sett can prove to be the perfect pick for anyone looking to carry their Solo Queue games from the Top Lane.

Singed

An unorthodox champion, yes, but one that can prove incredibly difficult for enemies to deal with all the same. While learning to make the most of Singed's unique kit may take some time, The Mad Chemist can prove to be truly oppressive in the hands of the right player.

Currently, Singed is the Top Lane champion with the highest win rate (52.55%) in the game in Patch 25.19.

Garen

During the previous patch, Garen received substantial buffs to his bread-and-butter ability, his [E] Judgment. Now, Garen continues to be one of the strongest Top Laners in the game thanks to his strong laning and the ability to basically one-shot an enemy carry as soon as they get too close.

Best Jungle Champions

Briar

Briar isn't just the strongest Jungler in the game, she may well be the strongest champion overall. Ever since the buffs to Blade of the Ruined King a few patches ago, Briar has been out of control.

Now, she's the champion with the highest win rate in the entire game at 53.41%, proving to be one of the best when it comes to climbing LoL ranked.

Warwick

A very straightforward champion, Warwick makes for an excellent jungler. Not only is his kit easy to master, but his [W] Blood Hunt allows you to hunt for quick kills, setting you up for success from early on.

Later into the game, his [R] Infinite Duress can prove invaluable, as it has the power to shut down a fed enemy carry on the spot.

Volibear

Volibear is one of the best Junglers of LoL Patch 25.19 thanks to his strong dueling power and great early ganks. When it comes to team-fights, meanwhile, Volibear's [R] Stormbringer can make him very hard to deal with.

Like Warwick, Volibear has a very simple kit that is easy to utilize, making him a great pickup at any ranked level.

Best Mid Lane Champions

Malzahar

Yet again, Malzahar remains one of the strongest Mid Laners of the patch. Not only can the champion seize control of the Mid Lane fairly easily thanks to his strong pushing power, but he can do so while remaining relatively safe thanks to his [P] Void Shift.

It's in his [R] Nether Grasp where Malzahar's power really lies, though, as the ability can single-handedly shut down a fed enemy carry, giving your team the best chance to win.

Morgana

Traditionally better known as a Support pick, Morgana has risen in the Mid Lane thanks to repeated buffs to her [W] Tormented Shadow. Now, the champion holds a whopping 53.23% win rate in the Mid Lane.

Morgana's ability to catch opponents off guard with her [Q] Dark Binding can prove to be game-changing, while your teammates are bound to appreciate a well-timed [E] Black Shield when they need it most.

Diana

If assassins are more your cup of tea, then Diana is the pick for you. Diana remains the AP assassin with the highest Mid Lane win rate in Solo Queue thanks to her amazing burst and the ability to change the course of the game with a well-timed [R] Moonfall.

As far as assassins go, Diana's kit is quite straightforward, making her a great carry option in ranked League of Legends.

Best Bottom Lane Champions

Nilah

New patch, same old Nilah. Throughout the year, Nilah has remained a top ADC pick in ranked despite her less-than-traditional playstyle as a marksman. A strong laner and a fantastic team-fighter, Nilah can prove to be a truly powerful Solo Queue pick in Patch 25.19, as demonstrated by her 52.55% win rate.

Kog'Maw

Currently, Kog'Maw holds the highest win rate in the Bottom Lane at 52.70%. Recent buffs to Blade of the Ruined King have propelled Kog'Maw's damage to the next level.

While his carry potential remains unmatched, Kog'Maw's lack of mobility can be an issue at times. As long as you can remain safe in team-fights, though, few AD carries in the game will dish out the pain quite like Kog'Maw.

Jinx

Jinx has long stood as a fan favorite, and Patch 25.19 is no different, as she remains the most picked ADC in League of Legends Solo Queue. Despite her incredible 18.3% pick rate, Jinx manages to hold an impressive 51.41% win rate.

In the latest update, Jinx received buffs to her [Q] Switcheroo! and [E] Flame Chompers! While these were aimed at making her a stronger pick in pro play ahead of Worlds 2025, this should prove to be the perfect time to use Jinx's powers to climb the ranked ladder.

Best Support Champions

Milio

As far as empowering your allies and keeping them safe goes, Milio is a prime Support pick thanks to his [W] Cozy Campfire and [E] Warm Hugs. When it comes to getting your team out of a hairy situation, there is no ability quite like Milio's [R] Breath of Life.

This has served Milio well on his way to becoming the highest win rate (52.81%) Support champion in Patch 25.19.

Taric

When it comes to Duo Queueing with a friend, Taric is an amazing pick. With enough synergy with your teammates, your [W] Bastion + [E] Dazzle combos can set up for easy kills from very early on. This makes Taric an underrated pick when it comes to climbing ranked.

Morgana

That's right, Morgana is so strong that she shows up twice on this list. In the Support role, Morgana can provide a good mix of Taric's and Milio's strengths. Your [Q] Dark Binding and [R] Soul Shackles can set up for easy kills, while your [E] Black Shield will prove crucial for keeping your carries safe.

After her numerous buffs, Morgana's pick and win rate have exploded as she continues to be a rising pick in Solo Queue.

The Final Push

Patch 25.19 has shaken up the Solo Queue ladder in noticeable ways, but one thing remains true: picking the right champions for the meta can make all the difference in your climb. Whether you prefer the raw carry potential of Briar and Kog’Maw, the reliability of Malzahar and Sett, or the utility of Supports like Milio and Morgana, these champions are among the best tools available to help you secure wins.

As the season nears its end, now is the perfect time to lock in these picks, take advantage of their strength, and push for the rank you’ve been aiming for.
