Team Vitality and Leviatán secured their spots in the VALORANT Masters London playoffs following intense three-map battles on Day 3 of the Swiss Stage.

Vitality Edge Out FUT in EMEA Showdown

The day opened with a fiery EMEA clash between Team Vitality and FUT Esports. Vitality set the tone on their Pearl pick, taking a commanding 7-5 lead at halftime before holding off a late FUT surge to win 13-11 in a tense finish.

FUT hit back hard on Haven, their map pick. An explosive attack half completely dismantled Vitality's defensive setups, and the Golden Bees never recovered—FUT ran away with a dominant 13-4 win to force a decider.

Fracture proved to be Vitality's stage. They tore through FUT's defense in the first half, building a cushion that proved decisive. FUT pushed back after the side swap, but Vitality's composed mid-round calling carried them to a 13-10 win and a playoff berth.

Leviatán Outlast NRG in Pearl Decider

The Americas series between NRG and Leviatán followed a similarly dramatic path. Leviatán seized control early on their Ascent pick, going up 7-5 at halftime and shutting down NRG's second-half adjustments to close the map 13-7.

NRG responded with a clinical performance on Lotus. After a competitive opening half, they completely shut the door on Leviatán post-swap, conceding just one round to take the map 13-5 and level the series.

Pearl delivered the finale Leviatán needed. They edged a 7-5 halftime lead and never relinquished control, absorbing NRG's pressure and closing out 13-8 to punch their ticket to playoffs.

What's Next for FUT and NRG?

Both FUT Esports and NRG now sit at 1-1 in the Swiss Stage. After a day's rest, they return for Round 3 matches against the winners of XLG vs. DRG and Global Esports vs. FULL SENSE, respectively, where a playoff spot or a slide toward elimination hangs in the balance.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
