VCT Americas 2027 Brazil Qualifiers Dates, Format and Registration
Brazil is guaranteed at least one spot at VCT Americas Kickoff 2027, with a chance to send a second team through the Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The country's qualification process begins on November 5, 2026, with two open qualifiers for VALORANT teams.
Registration will take place on Gamers Club, starting October 20. The winner of the Brazilian playoffs will qualify directly for Kickoff, while the runner-up will face teams from North America and Latin America for the final available spot.
VCT Americas Kickoff 2027 will take place in São Paulo from January 14 to February 7. Eight partner teams will receive direct invitations, with four more spots awarded through regional qualification: one each for Brazil, North America, and Latin America, plus one through the LCQ.

How Do the VCT Americas 2027 Brazil Qualifiers Work?
Brazil's route to Kickoff has two open qualifiers, a 16-team playoff stage, and a final opportunity through the Americas LCQ for the team that finishes second. Only the Brazilian playoff champion earns a direct Kickoff berth.
Open Qualifiers
Both open qualifiers use single-elimination brackets with best-of-three (Bo3) matches. At least four teams from each qualifier will advance to the next stage, giving entrants two chances to reach the playoffs.
The 16-team playoff field will also include invited rosters. Invitations will take into account teams that competed in VCT Americas in 2026 but did not retain partner status, along with leading Challengers and Game Changers teams. Riot has not yet specified how many of the 16 places will be filled by invitations.
Swiss Stage and Double-Elimination Playoffs
The 16 playoff teams begin in a Swiss stage on November 20-22. Teams need two wins to advance, and eight will move on to the next phase.
Those eight teams enter a double-elimination bracket played across November 26-29 and December 3-6. The champion qualifies for VCT Americas Kickoff 2027 as Brazil's representative. The runner-up advances to the Americas LCQ.
Americas Last Chance Qualifier
The Americas LCQ takes place in São Paulo on December 17-18, bringing together the runners-up from Brazil, North America, and Latin America. Only one of the three will claim the fourth open-qualification spot at Kickoff.
On December 17, all three teams will play each other in a Bo3 round robin. The top two will then meet in a best-of-five (Bo5) final on December 18, with the winner qualifying for Kickoff.
