The Group Stage for VCT Americas 2025 Stage 2 has passed and now makes way for the Playoffs. The remaining top 8 teams in the Americas league will battle one another for the final regional trophy of the season and one potential final shot to qualify for the most prestigious event of the year – VALORANT Champions Paris.

Let’s take a look at everything there is to know about VCT Americas Stage 2 Playoffs before it kickstarts on August 21st.

Teams

Format

The VCT Americas Stage 2 Playoffs features the following format. Here’s how it all works:

  • Double-elimination bracket.
  • 1st seeds from each Group earns a bye to the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
  • 2nd and 3rd seeds advance to the Upper Bracket Round 1.
  • 4th seeds will start Playoffs in the Lower Bracket Round 1.
  • Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Bo5 format.
  • All other matches are Bo3 format.
  • Top 2 teams will qualify for Champions.

Schedule and Key Dates

Follow along the schedule to make sure you don’t miss any of the action:

  • Playoffs kick off on Thursday, August 21st.
  • Two matches will be played a day, except during the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals.
  • Matches start at 2pm and 5pm PST each day.
  • Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals kick off at 2pm PST.
  • The Grand Finals will crown the final Americas Champion of the year on Sunday, August 31st.
