With the 2025 VCT Kickoff tournament just days away, we have just been given a first look at the latest Team Capsules for the upcoming season. Here’s everything you need to know about the new team bundles.

What’s in the Bundle?

The 2025 Team Capsules bring familiar content with some exciting updates. Each capsule includes a Classic skin featuring a refreshed design, complete with new visual effects. Additionally, every bundle will come with a Player Card, a Charm, and a Spray.

A cool new effect has also been added to the inspect animation, which showcases the number of trophies the team has won in their time in Tier 1 VALORANT.

However, this year, all teams will share a unified Player Card design, with differences limited to a color swap and the respective team logo.

Will All Teams Be Represented?

There’s still ambiguity about whether teams that recently ascended to the VCT Regional Leagues through Ascension will have their bundles included. Based on last year’s trends, it seems likely they will receive their own capsules eventually.

A similar question arises for BOOM Esports, who joined the VCT Pacific League after replacing BLEED Esports at the end of the 2024 season. As a Tier 1 team, many fans expect their bundle to debut either now or later in the season.

Here is a look at all the bundles that have been revealed as of now:

EDward Gaming, the reigning champions of VALORANT Champions 2024, are receiving a unique touch this year. Their custom Classic skin will feature special effects, possibly in the inspect animation or finisher, along with a unique Player Card, to celebrate their historic victory.

Pricing and Availability

As with the previous year, players can expect the 2025 Team Capsules to cost around 2344 VALORANT Points. These bundles are sure to excite fans as they support their favorite teams heading into the new VCT season.

However, prices are subject to change on launch, especially for the EDG Capsule. So take this with a grain of salt. As for when the capsules will be made available, exact dates are yet to be confirmed, though we expect them to be obtainable in early January.

Get ready to grab your capsule and showcase your team spirit as the 2025 season unfolds!

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
