VALORANT Patch 12.06: Updates to Waylay and Viper, New Yoru Voicelines, and More

VALORANT Patch 12.06: Updates to Waylay and Viper, New Yoru Voicelines, and More

VALORANT Patch 12.06 may not deliver the biggest of updates to the game, but it's certainly worth taking a look at all the same for a few concrete reasons. From small updates to Waylay (which should result in a slight nerf) and Viper, to new voicelines for Yoru and a long list of bug fixes, the new VALORANT update will continue to drive the game towards its most balanced and polished state.

Agent Updates

Waylay VALORANT

Only three Agents will be affected by VALORANT Patch 12.06, but in no large scale. Here's a look at the coming Agent updates:

  • Waylay: Saturate [C] changed from INSTANT to EQUIP.
  • Viper: Viper’s Pit [X] chemical has been updated to spread more consistently around map geometry.
  • Yoru: New voicelines added.

General Updates

Agent changes aside, VALORANT Patch 12.06 will be updating the Victory, Defeat, and Draw end-of-game screen with new visuals and sound effects.

As always, the new VALORANT update will also deliver a long list of bug fixes to the game. This will include a much-appreciated fix to Tejo's triple missile bug which forced Riot to disable the Agent altogether just days ago.

Agent Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where Veto’s Crosscut icon was missing on the minimap when the Enemy Highlight Color setting was set to red.
  • Fixed a bug where some of Miks’ Harmonize 1P VFX were disappearing early.
  • Fixed a bug where Miks’ Harmonize targeting UI could overlap with an ally’s loadout.
  • Fixed a bug where Miks’ Waveform ability placement UI would persist briefly in 3P after he placed a smoke.
  • Fixed a bug where Miks’ M-pulse could be stuck in certain spots on the map and could not be destroyed.
  • Fixed a bug where Clove’s post-death Ruse could not be unequipped without casting it.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Tejo’s Guided Salvo to be cast three times.
