VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Bundle: Skins, Price, Release Date, and More

One of VALORANT's most iconic skin collections, Neo Frontier, is set to return with new skins in Patch 13.02. The Neo Frontier 2.0 collection is expected to arrive tomorrow with three unique weapon skins and accompanying cosmetics.

The skinline gained popularity upon release for its unique blend of Western aesthetic and sci‑fi elements, paired with its immersive inspect animation, sound effects, and finisher. Based on what we've seen from leaks and official teasers, the second Neo Frontier bundle will return with the same features.

Everything We Know About VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Collection

The Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle will feature three weapon skins:

• Vandal

• Shorty

• Lasso (Melee)

The previous Neo Frontier collection, which was released in June 2023, introduced skins for Sheriff, Phantom, Odin, Marshal, and an Axe melee. However, unlike most sequel bundles, Neo Frontier 2.0 will feature only 2 weapon skins and a melee. 

It also comes with two player cards and a spray, but notably, the bundle does not include a gun buddy. The original collection came with a buddy that displays the agent with the highest ACS in the match, turning from green to red if you lead the scoreboard. While the new bundle lacks this feature, you can still use the gun buddy from the previous collection to achieve the same effect.

On the bright side, we finally get a Vandal in this beloved design, and we’re also introduced to a unique lasso-inspired melee, the first of its kind in VALORANT. 

Upgrades and Variants

The Neo Frontier 2.0 skins will feature the same variants as the original bundle: Default (Green), Gold, Silver, and Copper. Additionally, they have an unupgraded version that gives the Vandal a Western look with a wooden stock, grip, and handguard. You can simply leave the skin at Level 2 to get this design, though that means you won't have access to the finisher, which is a fair trade‑off if you prefer the classic aesthetic.

All three skins come with unique animations, particularly for inspect and reload motions, along with exclusive sound effects and music: a Western style for the unupgraded versions and a more futuristic one for the upgraded versions.

The original Neo Frontier's iconic finisher carries over to the 2.0 collection as well. Upon getting the final kill of the round, a tumbleweed rolls across the eliminated player, and a "Wanted: Dead or Alive" poster of the enemy appears above, offering a $20,000 reward.

Finally, the highlight of the Neo Frontier 2.0 collection is its lasso‑inspired melee. Like the gun skins, it also has an unupgraded version, which resembles a traditional cowboy lasso. Upon upgrade, it transforms into a translucent cord that takes on the color of its variant, which many in the community have nicknamed the "garden hose variant" due to its appearance.

The melee also features two styles of sound effects, similar to the gun skins. And the best part is its infinite inspect animation, which lets you spin the lasso continuously until you cancel it.

Overall, the Neo Frontier 2.0 collection offers great value for money. Given the popularity of the original's audio and animations, it's no surprise that Riot decided to bring back the same or similar effects. Paired with a long‑awaited Vandal and a highly unique melee, this bundle could become a popular choice among players.

That said, the collection could have featured more weapon skins, perhaps adding the Outlaw or Operator, and possibly including the Bandit in place of the Shorty.

Neo Frontier 2.0 Bundle Price Breakdown

The Neo Frontier 2.0 collection falls under the Exclusive tier and costs 6,700 VP, a 31% discount from its full price of 9,775. Here are the individual items and their prices: 

• Vandal - 2,175 VP

• Shorty - 2,175 VP

• Lasso (melee) - 4,350 VP

• Frontier V26 Card - 375 VP

• Neo Frontier V26 Card - 375 VP

• V26 Spray - 325 VP

Purchasing the bundle allows you to get the three skins at a discounted rate. Furthermore, the spray and the two player cards will be included free of charge. 

When Will the VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Collection Expire? 

The Neo Frontier 2.0 collection was added with VALORANT Patch 13.02. The three skins, along with the player cards and spray, arrived on July 28, 2026. You can purchase the bundle or its individual items from the Featured section of the in-game store.

The Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle will expire on August 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PDT / August 19 at 1:00 a.m. CEST. After this, it will no longer be available in the Featured tab, and you must wait for the individual skins to appear in your rotating Offers section if you wish to purchase them.

Run It Back: Neo Frontier Bundle Releases Alongside New Collection

In addition to the new bundle, Riot Games will welcome back some of the more popular skins from the previous Neo Frontier collection, namely the Phantom, Sheriff, and Marshal. They will be paired alongside the new Vandal, Shorty, and Lasso melee skins in the Run It Back: Neo Frontier bundle.

Run It Back bundles in VALORANT temporarily bring highly demanded skins back to the Featured tab of the in-game store, allowing you to purchase them without waiting for them to show up in your daily Offers section.
