Upsets are quite common in VALORANT, but the right way to go about the Playoffs Pick’Em is to pick the team most likely to win. For more information on Pick’Ems and Reward, read our previous article on the topic [here].

Strafe’s Pick’Ems Selections

The VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 is truly anyone’s to win. That said, the teams that have played the Swiss stage will be much warmer coming into the Playoffs and will have a slight edge over the first seeds.

Moreover, every remaining team is a strong contender, just some in better form than others. Based on everything we have said, our picks for the Playoffs are as follows:

Strafe's VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 Playoffs Picks

We believe the current meta heavily favors Paper Rex. The Masters Toronto winners have always thrived in chaos and with the meta supporting their playstyle, it’d be unwise to choose otherwise.

The other three teams that will make it to the top four are:

  • FURIA
  • NRG
  • Gentle Mates

While FURIA is untested in international events, they had an unbelievable run to win the Americas Kickoff and we expect the win to propel them far into the bracket.

NRG, who have started another international event on a strong foot, are our second choice for the Grand Finals. Gentle Mates are another strong team and there is a big chance they will make it to the Grand Finals over FURIA and NRG.

The VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 Playoffs action kicks off tomorrow, February 6. Check out our Playoffs guide for more information
