VALORANT Champions Paris 2025 kicks off Friday, September 12th. With a $2.25 million USD cash prize on the line, VALORANT’s most important tournament of the year will play host to some of the biggest names in the scene, all vying for the most-sought after accolade – Champions winner.

Before Champions kicks off though, here is everything you’d need to know before you begin watching:

Champions Paris Anthem

Featuring “templuv” and “347aidan”, VALORANT’s newest Champions anthem – “Last Shot” – is a powerful entry with lyrics attempting to capture the efforts of circumnavigating pressure and stress, perfect for a tournament as prestigious and important as Champions. With over 80 players in attendance, only one team in the end will earn the right to lift the trophy.

Champions Pick’Ems Return

As reported last week, Champions Pick’ems will be returning for Paris. Fans will get to compete as the tournament progresses, selecting and backing their favored teams. Guess the outcome correctly, earn points. Check out our guide on everything you need to know for Pick’Ems.

Champions Paris 2025 Format and Schedule

Speaking of games, how would one pick the games without knowing the schedule? Champions 2025 will feature a dual-stage format, with the Group Stage occupying the majority of the duration and the Playoffs Stage capping off the event.

Group Stage

  • September 12th - 22nd.
  • 16 teams.
  • 4 groups (4 teams to a group).
  • All groups held with double-elimination group format (GSL)
  • Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage.
  • All matches Bo3 format (Best-of-Three).
  • 2 matches held a day (3pm CET and 6pm CET respectively).

To kick us off, here's everything you need to know about the group assignments and opening matchups.

Playoffs Stage

  • September 25th - October 5th.
  • 8 teams.
  • One Double-Elimination bracket
  • All matches (excluding Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final) are Bo3 format (Best-of-Three).
  • Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will be Bo5 format (Best-of-Five).
  • 2 matches held a day expect LBF and GF (3pm CET and 6pm CET respectively).
  • Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will both begin at 1pm CET on their respective days.

Free Event Pass Rewards

Throughout the duration of Champions 2025, a free event pass will also be made available in-game for fans to earn item rewards for their own accounts. These include:

  • “Bump It” Spray
  • “Lethal Dose” Gun Buddy
  • “Into The Pit” Player Card
  • “Run It Back” Player Card

Additionally, players can earn rewards from watching the matches, with these three to be made available over the course of the event:

  • “Oui Chef” Player Title (Sep 12th – 29th)
  • “Breadshot” Spray (October 3rd – October 4th)
  • “No Fly Zone” Player Card (October 5th)

How to Watch Champions 2025 Paris?

Regardless of whether you're in-attendance in Paris or watching from thousands of kilometers away, you'll be hard-pressed to miss the action and excitement.

For those still looking to purchase seats in the arena and watch their favorite teams battle it out on the big stage, tickets can be purchased here on the official site.

Arena Locations:

  • Group Stage: Les Arènes de Grand Paris Sud – Evry-Courcouronnes, 2 Rue Eugène Thomas, 91000 Évry-Courcouronnes, France.
  • Playoffs Stage: Accor Arena, 8 Bd de Bercy, 75012 Paris, France.

Tickets for Group Stage range from €35 to €60 depending on the day of the week and demand. With Champions kicking off tomorrow, you'd better act fast if you've yet to secure yourself seats at the biggest VALORANT tournament of the year. For the Playoffs Stage, expect far higher prices, with the range going between €55 to €120.

For those looking to catch the action live, VALORANT Champions 2025 will be live-streamed in English on Twitch and YouTube. Streams will also be available in 15 other languages, so check them out.
