Just one day after the official release of the Uzi Hall of Legends skins, the in-game cosmetics have already sold for over $3.2 million USD in China. Despite the steep price tag tied to the skins, the fact that these are tied to the most historic and beloved player in the largest region in League of Legends sees the latest addition to the shop become a smashing hit for Tencent and Riot Games all the same.

Uzi Doesn't Miss

The $450+ USD price of the Signature Kai'Sa collection might dissuade many from completing their purchase. Not Chinese fans, though.

According to an image shared by Redditor XanIrelia-1, the most costly of the Uzi skin collections had already sold a total of 5,629 times, for a total amount of ¥18,328,024 (more than $2.5 million USD). In combination with all the other collections tied to Uzi's induction into the Hall of Legends, the skins have already generate a total of $3.2 million USD in China alone.

With the Pass out for such a short amount of time, the collections have already proven to be massive success for Riot Games. Though the Immortalized Kai'Sa skin is certainly gorgeous, the sheer volume of sales right off the bat speaks to the immeasurable significance that a player like Uzi holds in the Chinese League of Legends scene.
