As Rainbow Six Siege enters a new chapter, Ubisoft has unveiled the R6 Esports 2026 roadmap. It is an ambitious overhaul designed to unify global competition and provide a clearer path to the Six Invitational. The new season emphasizes year-long engagement, smoother progression between competitive tiers, and consistent international opportunities for teams worldwide.

A Unified Global Calendar

For the first time, the R6 Esports calendar will run seamlessly from February through November, connecting every stage of competition into one global journey.

The action begins with the Challenger Series (February–March), giving Tier 2 contenders and relegated Tier 1 teams the chance to earn their way back into top-flight play through open qualifiers.

April introduces the Season Kickoff, a brand-new event that replaces early-stage qualifiers with a fast-paced, high-stakes tournament awarding valuable SI Points and May Major qualification spots.

Returning Majors and Mid-Season EWC

The return of the May and November Majors marks a revival of global events that fans have long missed. These Majors will once again serve as key milestones in the international season, bringing together the best regional teams for intense, high-level competition.

A major new addition is the formal integration of the Esports World Cup as an official mid-season event in August. Although not all placements earn SI Points, the winning team will receive a direct qualification to the Six Invitational, instantly raising the prestige and stakes of the EWC.

Regional Stages and SI Qualification

Two regional splits in June–July and September–October will determine which teams gather enough SI Points to qualify for the Six Invitational. With regional finals removed in favor of a continuous point-based system, consistency becomes the true test.

The 2026 season aims to balance structure and spectacle, creating a fairer, more thrilling experience for players and fans alike. With year-round competition and refined qualification paths, Rainbow Six Esports is entering its most seamless competitive year yet.
