Top 5 Supports at Worlds 2026: Is Keria Still the One to Beat?

The 2026 League of Legends World Championship is almost here, and it is time to look at the best players heading into the tournament.

Now, it's time to rank the best five support players attending this year's Worlds. Keep in mind that this ranking will be a reflection of these players' current form, capacity to perform under pressure, influence on their teams' success, champion pool depth, and Worlds meta affinity.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at the best support players of Worlds 2026!

Honorable Mentions

Other supports worth highlighting coming into Worlds who did not make our list are Tian “Meiko” Ye of Invictus Gaming, Wang “Zhuo” Xu-Zhuo of Top Esports, and Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis of G2 Esports.

Meiko brings years of international experience and leadership, Zhuo offers playmaking potential, while Labrov’s coordination and team-fight presence make him another great support to watch at Worlds 2026.

Top Esports are currently dealing with visa issues affecting several players, leaving their participation at Worlds 2026 uncertain. As the team's support is among those affected, he has been excluded from this list for the time being.

5. Kael (AL)

Kim "Kael" Jin-hong has been an important part of Anyone’s Legend’s rise in the LPL, combining sharp engage timing with the ability to protect his teammates when fights turn against them. He recorded a 4.63 KDA across 49 games in LPL Split 3, with a 75.4% kill participation rate.

His high involvement in team fights highlights how often he contributes to plays across the map. At the same time, his understanding of positioning and crowd control helps his team create opportunities around objectives, while his coordination with his jungler gives the team another way to find openings across the map.

In 2026, Kael helped the team secure the LPL Split 3 title with a 3–1 victory over Bilibili Gaming in the final. He will now look to carry that momentum into Worlds 2026 and help the team make another deep run on the international stage.

4. Duro (GEN)

Joo "Duro" Min-kyu’s strength lies in how well he complements Gen.G’s star players, combining solid defensive play with the ability to step forward and initiate fights when the opportunity arises.

Rather than simply following his teammates into engagements, he helps create those openings through well-timed crowd control and smart positioning. His 5.15 KDA across 84 games in the 2026 season, alongside a 72.6% win rate, reflects his consistency throughout the year.

Whether providing protection for Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk or finding the right moment to engage, Duro adapts to what Gen.G needs in each game. After helping the team secure the LCK title, he will look to carry that form into Worlds and prove he can deliver on the biggest stage.

3. Delight (HLE)

Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong heads into Worlds 2026 as the support for Hanwha Life Esports, bringing valuable international experience and a strong track record to the roster. He recorded a 4.16 KDA across 75 games in the LCK 2026 season, with a 62.67% win rate and 75.6% kill participation.

His ability to create opportunities through engages while supporting his teammates in team fights makes him an important part of HLE’s approach. Delight has already enjoyed international success with HLE this year, winning MSI 2026 after a 3–2 victory over Bilibili Gaming.

After finishing in the top eight at Worlds last year, he will be aiming for a deeper run this time around, helping the Korean organization turn its individual talent into another international title. Worlds remains the one major international trophy missing from his collection.

2. ON (BLG)

Luo "ON" Wen-Jun has been a key part of Bilibili Gaming’s success throughout 2026, recording a 4.07 KDA across 109 games, with 79 wins and a 72.5% win rate. He also posted a 71.7% kill participation rate and played 22 different champions, highlighting his flexibility and impact in BLG’s team-oriented style.

The Chinese support has already helped BLG win First Stand and the LPL Split 1 and Split 2 titles in 2026, while the team finished runner-up at MSI 2026.

His consistent performances throughout the season have established ON as one of the strongest supports in the LPL. At Worlds 2026, he will look to maintain that form and help the team challenge for their first Summoner’s Cup.

1. Keria (T1)

Ryu "Keria" Min-seok heads into Worlds 2026 as T1’s key playmaker in the support role, having recorded a 4.89 KDA across 77 games in the LCK 2026 season, with a 61.04% win rate and 76.3% kill participation.

His wide champion pool, which already includes 22 picks this season, gives T1 plenty of flexibility in the draft and allows him to adapt to different team compositions.

A three-time Worlds champion, Keria is now aiming to win his fourth consecutive Worlds title with T1. His ability to create opportunities through roaming, vision control, and decisive engages makes him much more than a traditional support.
