KT Rolster announced on Thursday, October 8, that Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong and Lee "PerfecT" Seung-min have signed contract extensions through 2028. The mid laner and top laner, who helped KT reach the Worlds 2025 final, will remain with the organization for another two years.

The extensions secure two key members of KT's League of Legends roster following a disappointing season. After reaching its first World Championship final in 2025, KT struggled to replicate that success in 2026 and ultimately failed to qualify for Worlds.

Bdd and PerfecT Commit to KT Rolster Through 2028

Bdd has a long history with the organization. The mid laner previously played for KT in 2019 before joining Gen.G and later Nongshim RedForce. He returned to KT in 2023 and signed a two-year extension in October 2024, with his latest deal now keeping him at the club through 2028.

PerfecT, meanwhile, has spent his entire professional career within KT Rolster's system. He joined the organization's academy in 2020, progressed through its Challengers roster and earned a place on the main team ahead of the 2024 season.

Both players were part of KT's historic run at Worlds 2025. The team defeated Gen.G 3-1 in the semifinals before meeting T1 in the championship match. KT pushed Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok's team to five games but ultimately lost 3-2, finishing as World Championship runners-up.

Bdd also received one of the LCK's highest individual honors that year, winning the 2025 LCK Player of the Year award ahead of players including Faker and Chovy.

How Did KT Rolster Perform in 2026?

Coming off their Worlds final appearance, KT endured a difficult start to 2026. The team was eliminated from the LCK Cup Play-In by DN SOOPers, finishing the competition in 8th-9th place.

KT improved during the LCK 2026 regular season, finishing the first two rounds in fourth place with a 13-5 series record. However, a 3-0 loss to Gen.G in the Road to MSI ended their hopes of attending the Mid-Season Invitational.

The team also fell short of qualifying for Worlds 2026. Despite reaching the LCK playoffs, KT lost 3-1 to Dplus KIA in the lower bracket, finishing fifth. The defeat ended their chances of returning to the World Championship for a second consecutive year.

KT Rolster Still Have the Demacia Cup 2026 to Play

Although KT missed out on Worlds, their competitive season is not over. The team is currently in China for the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, an international tournament featuring 12 teams from six regions.

KT opened the tournament with a 1-0 victory over Shopify Rebellion before defeating RED Canids 2-0. Those results gave KT an undefeated 2-0 record in the Swiss Stage and made them one of the first teams to qualify for the playoffs.

Their next match is against Team Vitality of the LEC in the quarterfinals on October 12. The tournament concludes with the grand final in Beijing on October 17.
