TenZ Signs With T1 as Content Creator

Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, one of the most recognizable names in VALORANT history, has officially joined T1 as a content creator, marking a new chapter for the Canadian star following his high-profile departure from Sentinels exactly one year ago.

The two-time Masters winner parted ways with Sentinels in May 2025 after a four-year relationship that featured some of the most iconic moments in VALORANT esports. Initially retiring from competitive play in September 2024, he had stayed with the organization as a content creator but ultimately chose to part ways to pursue a wider range of brand partnerships and creative freedom. In a farewell post on X, TenZ expressed gratitude for his time at Sentinels, describing the split as "bittersweet".

A New Home at T1

TenZ has now signed with T1, one of the most storied and globally recognized esports organizations in the world, as a content creator. This isn't entirely new territory, as the former Masters Madrid winner had already been involved in T1's ecosystem, having participated in the T1 Home Ground fan festival in 2025 alongside fellow creator and T1 streamer Kevin "xccurate" Susanto. His signing formalizes what many fans had already been speculating about for months.

Since stepping away from professional play, TenZ has made clear his ambitions in content creation extend well beyond VALORANT gameplay. He has spoken about wanting to produce travel vlogs, attend gaming conventions, and deliver variety content for his over 6.5 million combined followers on YouTube and Twitch. Under T1's banner, he will have the infrastructure of one of esports' biggest brands behind those ambitions.

What’s Next?

At just 25 years old, TenZ still commands an enormous influence in the VALORANT community. His move to T1 brings together two of the biggest names in esports, and fans can expect a fresh wave of content from a creator who has barely scratched the surface of what he wants to build post-competition.
