In a remarkable feat, Team Bliss has become the first team to qualify for the Esports World Cup by emerging victorious in the Oceania Closed Qualifier for Rainbow Six Siege.

The journey to qualification began with eight teams who advanced from the Open qualifiers:

These teams faced off in a single elimination bracket, with each match being a Bo3 series.

The Closed Qualifiers

In the quarterfinals, Team Bliss displayed their dominance with a convincing 2-0 victory over team_Benana1. Both maps ended with a decisive 7-1 scoreline, showcasing Bliss's superior strategy and execution.

The semifinals, however, proved to be more challenging. Man eSports LFO took the first map, but Team Bliss made a strong comeback, winning the next two maps to secure a 2-1 series victory.

The grand finals pitted the Aussies against Antic Esports in a thrilling showdown. Antic Esports pushed both maps into overtime, but Team Bliss demonstrated resilience and skill, clinching both maps with 8-7 scores to win the series 2-0.

This hard-fought victory not only crowned them the champions of the Oceania Closed Qualifier but also secured the only available spot from the region for the Esports World Cup.

With this win, Team Bliss has earned their tickets to Riyadh, where they will compete against the world's best in the Esports World Cup. This historic achievement underscores their dedication and prowess in Rainbow Six Siege, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting and competitive tournament.
