Sentinels and Cloud9 Rescue Stranded VCT Americas Fans

Esports orgs to the rescue. On May 14th, VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas announced that there would be no live audiences for the remainder of matches for Stage 1. This was cited to be due to a facilities issue at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.

Following the announcement, North American organizations Sentinels and Cloud9 have stepped forward to cater the stranded fans by organizing their own watch parties. These would be free for Playoffs ticket holders.

An Unexpected Viewing Experience

Following the disappointment that was the VCT Americas announcement, fans who had plans to travel to LA for the upcoming games were left scratching their heads. Despite the promised reimbursement from Riot Games, their planned viewing experience had gone up in smoke.

But now Sentinels and Cloud9 have offered their own live watch parties for fans to attend this weekend. Cloud9 are organizing a watch party with UC Irvine Esports and ASUS, while Sentinels are holding their own watch party at their HQ with Rob Moore and Tarik. Both invitations are targeted for fans who were planning to head to the arena this coming weekend.
