Riot Games Issues Procedural Update on Florescent's SA Allegations

Riot Games has officially released a procedural update regarding the sexual assault allegations made against former Apeks VALORANT player and Game Changers champion Ava "florescent" Eugene, concluding that no violations of its Global Code of Conduct were found.

Riot's Formal Review Complete

Following the surfacing of serious allegations earlier this year, Riot Games has now completed its internal investigation and published a formal statement.

No Penalties, florescent Remains Eligible

As a direct result of this review, Riot Games will not be issuing any competitive penalties against florescent. She remains fully eligible to compete in all Riot-sanctioned events going forward. The statement did, however, leave the door open for revisiting the matter: "If new material information emerges, this matter may be revisited."

It is worth noting that the review was conducted under the scope of Riot Games’ Esports Global Code of Conduct, which governs competitive eligibility — not as a replacement for any civil or criminal legal proceedings, which remain a separate avenue entirely.

Brick's Tweets Deleted

As this update came to light, another development has emerged. All of the tweets previously posted by Brick (the alleged victim) giving her testimony against florescent appear to have been deleted.

However, the original Google Docs document about the allegations and the Imgur links containing Discord screenshots, which Brick had shared as supporting evidence during her initial testimony, remain accessible at the time of writing.

What This Means Going Forward

Riot's conclusion effectively clears florescent of any competitive consequences within the VALORANT ecosystem for now. The investigation's outcome does not speak to the broader personal accounts shared by Brick and others, which described a pattern of alleged emotional manipulation and coercion across a nine-month relationship. The situation remains a sensitive and developing one, and further updates will be covered should they emerge.
